Sr. Sourcing Specialist, Mechanical (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Own demand planning and strategic sourcing for Starshield hardware
• Drive end-to-end supply chain execution for critical components
• Balance cost, quality, and lead-time targets; scale production
• Operate within procurement, planning, fulfillment, supplier development & quality
• Support high-volume satellite factory of the future
• Work in a fast, high-velocity environment impacting national security

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree + 2+ years in purchasing/procurement/material planning OR 5+ years in purchasing
• 2+ years in technical sourcing, procurement, or planning
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machines (mills, lathes, waterjet, laser, sheet
• Familiar with material finishes/coatings (paint, powder coat, anodize, heat treat)
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and BOMs, work orders, PO management
• APICS/Six Sigma or similar certifications (preferred)
