Sr. Staff Mechanical Engineer - BlueSky

📋 Description

• Lead mechanical design, analysis, and integration of complex aerospace systems
• Own deliverables across concept to production and field support
• Develop 3D CAD models, drawings, and manufacturing docs with GD&T
• Perform structural, thermal, fatigue, and FEA analyses as needed
• Select materials, processes, and architectures to meet performance and cost goals
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–6 years of hands-on mechanical design in aerospace or related field
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, NX, CATIA or similar; detailed drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T, structural design, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with stress, thermal, tolerance stack-ups, fatigue, and/or FEA
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
