Sr. Staff Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and evolve security architecture across cloud, apps, identities, networks, data.
• Lead threat modeling for health data flows and patient apps, coaching engineers.
• Conduct architecture reviews balancing risk, usability, and delivery speed.
• Scale review processes with self-service patterns and risk-tiered workflows.
• Integrate security governance into existing tech processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to embed secure-by-default designs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS or InfoSec, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years security experience; 5+ years in security architecture.
• Deep security domain expertise: app, cloud, IAM, network, data.
• Hands-on with cloud security: network, encryption, key/secrets mgmt.
• Proven threat modeling leadership (STRIDE/PASTA).
• Experience HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, SOC 2; translate to controls.
