Sr. Underwriting Generalist- Part Time

📋 Description

• Independently evaluate and underwrite complex life insurance cases
• Assess medical, financial, and non-medical information
• Handle cases up to $10M face amount; mentor others
• Collaborate with sales, distribution, and business teams
• Build relationships with agents, BGAs, and distribution partners
• Communicate underwriting decisions clearly

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 8+ years of life insurance underwriting
• Experience with large, complex cases and impaired risks
• Experience with independent agents, BGAs, and distribution channels
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Professional designations preferred (FALU, FLMI, CLU)
