Staff Azure Cloud Engineer, Automation

📋 Description

• Design and build the Azure landing zone aligned to CAF and Well-Architected pillars.
• Build with Azure Verified Modules; compose Terraform modules on top of AVM.
• Own Terraform Cloud setup: per-workload state, variable sets, runs, remote state.
• Hands-on networking and firewall config: hub-spoke, NSGs, Azure Firewall, WAF rules, private
• Define cloud-native software engineering practices with security/engineering teams; codify into
• Establish policy-as-code guardrails and CI/CD for infrastructure changes.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in cloud infrastructure/platform engineering with production ownership.
• Azure generalist with Terraform/IaC, Azure networking, and security.
• Deep Terraform experience: module authorship, remote state, environment strategy, version pinning.
• Strong Azure networking/security knowledge: hub-spoke, private endpoints, Entra ID, RBAC, Azure
• Experience with CI/CD for IaC (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalent); policy-as-code
• Proven ability to work with security/network/IT teams; able to make design decisions independently.
