Staff Azure Cloud Engineer, Automation

📋 Description

• Lead Azure cloud platform build for a modern landing zone.
• Own Terraform Cloud setup, state, and environment strategy.
• Design network: hub-spoke, NSGs, Azure Firewall, private endpoints.
• Define policy-as-code and shift-left tooling with security/engineering teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for infra changes with gating.
• Establish security and observability baselines (Defender, Log Analytics).

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in cloud infra with production ownership.
• Azure generalist with Terraform/IaC, networking, security.
• Deep Terraform: modules, remote state, env strategy, monorepo tradeoffs.
• Strong Azure networking, Entra ID, governance (Policies, MGs).
• Experience with CI/CD for infra (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Policy-as-code (Sentinel/OPA) knowledge; scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python).
