Staff Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Architect and evolve scalable backend APIs, services, and data models
• Lead end-to-end backend initiatives from design to production
• Handle complex projects, assess risks, and plan execution
• Improve reliability, performance, and operational maturity
• Resolve production issues across code, DBs, caches, and queues
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Data teams

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise in Node.js and production-grade backends
• Staff-level backend engineering with high-scale APIs or distributed systems
• Node.js, TypeScript, Elixir, Ruby/Rails, Java, Go, Python or equivalent
• Advanced SQL and relational DB knowledge
• Experience with SOA and event-driven architectures, Redis or caching tech
• Infrastructure fluency: deployments, containers, CI/CD, cloud, observability
