Staff Backend Engineer, Host Pricing & Availability

📋 Description

• Architect and lead pricing backend strategy and APIs
• Lead development and optimization of core pricing and availability products
• Collaborate with product engineers to build host pricing features and calendar tooling
• Contribute to long-term backend architecture for Host Pricing
• Establish architectural standards and mentor senior engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years of engineering experience with BS/MS/PhD in CS or similar
• Proven track record leading teams, setting technical strategy, and launching high-impact features
• Expertise with backend systems in large-scale service-oriented architectures
• Experience influencing cross-functional partners and engineering teams
• Good judgment balancing short-term needs with long-term technical quality
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and production debugging abilities
