Staff Database Engineer

📋 Description

• Become SME in production database troubleshooting, ServiceNow instance performance, and Linux
• Own complex incident RCA across multi-tenant PostgreSQL/MariaDB fleets at scale
• Develop observability and automation to prevent recurrence of critical issues
• Influence infrastructure decisions that shape our multi-tenant cloud platform
• Mentor and collaborate with engineers across operations, support, and development

🎯 Requirements

• Experience integrating AI into workflows or problem-solving using AI-powered tools
• 6+ years of experience with relational databases (especially Postgres)
• Database skills: MVCC, transaction management, vacuum mechanics, performance tuning, buffer
• Scripting: shell, Python, JavaScript, Ansible
• DevOps/Performance/support experience for web-based apps on containers (Apache/Tomcat, JBoss
• 3+ years developing on SaaS/PaaS/Cloud Infrastructure
