📋 Description

• Lead delivery of autonomous behaviors into Shield AI products in the UK.
• Act as technical lead, senior IC, or team lead with hands-on contribution.
• Own end-to-end architectural design, delivery, support, and evolution of mission autonomy software.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate software across components.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users or teams as needed.
• Champion reuse and a product-line mindset across projects.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in CS, Aerospace, Electrical, Robotics, Mechanical or related field.
• Proficient in production-level C++ development.
• 7+ years in software sub-systems, behavior planning, motion planning, optimization, or flight
• Experience with version control, issue tracking, code reviews, release management.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and lifecycle management.
• Willingness to mentor others and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
