📋 Description

  • Lead technical delivery of complex autonomy capabilities for USVs/UUVs/UAVs in maritime missions
  • Develop robust motion planning with safety constraints (keep-out volumes, depth limits)
  • Advance localization and tracking via fusion modalities and sensor networks
  • Ensure safe maritime operations with COLREGS adherence
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration across perception, planning, simulation, hardware, and test
  • Travel approximately 25% per year for offices, sites and demonstrations

🎯 Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer/ Electrical/ Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
  • 7+ years with Bachelor, 6+ years with Master, or 4+ years with PhD
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python; familiarity with RTOS
  • Strong robotics background in motion planning, behavior modeling, or autonomous systems
  • Experience with unmanned systems and algorithms (space domain preferred)
  • Experience with simulation tools (e.g., AFSIM, NGTS)
