Staff Engineer, Field Support - X-BAT Aircraft Systems (R5081)

📋 Description

• Senior, customer-facing technical authority for Shield AI's X-BAT program
• Resolve aircraft, mission system, avionics, propulsion, launch/recovery, ground support, and
• Support test, demonstration, deployment, and field operations
• Interface for X-BAT aircraft systems, mission equipment, and fielded configurations
• Travel or deploy as required to support CONUS/OCONUS operations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field with 8+ years experience, or equivalent; advanced
• Hands-on aircraft/UAS maintenance or sustainment experience (military avionics tech, A&P, Field
• Advanced troubleshooting across aircraft, avionics, propulsion, electrical/mechanical, and
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance procedures, and product
• Strong customer-facing communication and ability to work in high-tempo environments
• Ability to travel domestically/internationally and obtain required clearances
