Staff Engineer, Flight Controls - X-BAT (R4813)

📋 Description

• Contribute to XBAT flight control system for stable, robust flight performance
• Design and implement flight control laws across regimes
• Build mature 6DOF simulation environments for control development
• Execute verification: linear analysis, Monte Carlo, HIL validation
• Diagnose simulation-to-test gaps and modeling gaps
• Support flight test ops and rapid iteration between flights

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in flight controls / GNC on real vehicles
• Vehicle Modeling and Simulation in 6DOF environments
• Control Law Design for inner/outer loops
• Control Allocation for over-actuated systems
• Guidance/Autonomy integration and real-time trajectory generation
• Verification and Validation in 6DOF sim; MIL-HDBK-516 familiarity
