Staff Engineer, Manufacturing

📋 Description

• Own critical manufacturing processes across programs to boost throughput, cut costs, and scale
• Build infrastructure for a new production line supporting a next‑gen jet; select/deploy capital
• Collaborate across engineering, supply chain, and production; assure smooth integration of new
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize and improve manufacturing performance at scale.
• Technical leadership across programs for high-impact manufacturing process design/optimization.
• Scale-up flagship product line, balancing throughput, quality, and cost.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field, or relevant
• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, esp. in rapid-growth environments
• Experience scaling production in startup/rapid-growth contexts
• Strong understanding of machining, composites, avionics and/or assembly
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
• Fast-paced, high-pressure environment adaptability
