Staff Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment (R4592)

📋 Description

• Lead development, sustainment, and improvement of production equipment, test racks, and test cells
• Hands-on role collaborating with Manufacturing, Test, Quality, and Design Engineering to ensure
• Drive RAM improvements and scalability of equipment to meet production goals.
• Define and maintain equipment docs, schematics, BOMs, calibration plans, and maintenance procedures.
• Oversee equipment upgrades, obsolescence management, and capacity expansion as production scales.
• Mentor engineers/technicians and manage external vendors as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related field
• 8+ years in production equipment, test racks, or test cells in manufacturing/testing
• Strong hands-on electromechanical skills, with controls, instrumentation, and data acquisition
• Proven troubleshooting across hardware, software, and controls domains
• Experience documenting production equipment (schematics, maintenance procedures, etc.)
• Ability to work effectively on the factory floor and in cross-functional teams
