Staff Engineer - Payments (Mobile & Terminal Experiences)

📋 Description

• Build the next generation of payment experiences across mobile, terminals, and backend services.
• Architect and drive the long-term technical strategy for complex payment experiences across apps
• Lead resolution of reliability, performance, security, and device compatibility challenges at
• Partner with Product, Design, Legal, and other stakeholders to translate goals into executable
• Define architectural boundaries, APIs, and integration patterns enabling cross-functional teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote observability and operational excellence across the tech stack.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in software engineering, at Staff level.
• Mobile Expertise: 5+ years in Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) with production mobile code ownership.
• Cross-Platform Mindset: Willingness to cross-train across mobile platforms.
• Collaborative Leadership: Influences without formal authority across time zones and stakeholders.
• Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of mobile architecture, SDK design, concurrency, and large-scale
• Platform Thinking: Ability to generalize complex processes into scalable services and SDKs.
