Staff Engineer, Platform Team

📋 Description

• Design and evolve shared backend platform capabilities across engineering teams.
• Drive backend platform direction around Java code structure and service architecture.
• Improve CI/CD workflows, PR quality gates, and production release practices.
• Contribute to platform roadmap items like Webgates, multi-cluster deployment, and AI-driven
• Mentor engineers through design reviews and technical leadership on platform initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years backend or platform engineering, preferably Java, with distributed systems experience.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure experience.
• Strong understanding of backend service architecture, API/service design, and platform tradeoffs.
• Experience improving CI/CD practices, deployment quality gates, and production test quality.
• Observability and reliability mindset with operational excellence experience.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
