Staff Engineer, Safety - X-BAT (R5312)

📋 Description

• Safety engineering for X-BAT program; ensure system-level safety requirements.
• Bridge engineering, safety analyses, airworthiness, cybersecurity considerations.
• Collaborate with System-Safety Lead, Systems Engineering, Responsible Engineers.
• Drive hazard analyses and maintain safety baseline and Hazard Tracking System.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and certification activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (systems, aerospace, electrical, mechanical, or related).
• 5–8+ years in system safety, airworthiness, or mission-critical engineering.
• Experience generating/maintaining hazard logs (HTS).
• Knowledge of system safety processes and hazard analysis tools.
• Familiarity with requirements management and hazard tracking.
• Strong analytical and technical communication; ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
