Staff Field Services Engineer, Structures (R5259)

📋 Description

• Senior IC responsible for V-BAT airframe/structural sustainment issues
• Evaluate damage, wear, cracks, deformation, fatigue, impact, mishap findings
• Ensure repairs, guidance, and config changes are sound and documented
• Collaborate with Fleet Support, Sustainment Eng, Quality, and Ops
• Balance engineering rigor with field support urgency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/ Aerospace/ Structural Eng or related field
• 5+ years in aerospace structures or related sustainment roles
• Proven experience evaluating structural damage and fleet issues
• Strong knowledge of metallic/composite structures, fatigue, damage tolerance
• Experience developing/ supporting repair instructions and service guidance
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders
