Staff Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Embed with cross-functional teams to solve high-leverage problems
• Build software and AI to automate or augment workflows
• Own end-to-end applications from data model to production
• Work in a hybrid onsite role in Somerville, MA or Weirton, WV (3+ days/week)
• Ship solutions with guardrails and governance for reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years building and shipping production software
• Strong full-stack skills: React/Next.js/TypeScript; Python/FastAPI
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy or similar
• AI-enabled development experience; ability to embed AI in workflows
• Ownership mindset; able to ship with limited guidance
• Solid fundamentals: Git, automated testing, CI/CD, Docker
