Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, GTM Platform

📋 Description

• Build the first AI-native platform for Upside's go-to-market teams.
• Embed with revenue teams to learn workflows and ship impactful systems.
• Own architecture, tooling choices, and patterns for platform growth.
• Move from prototype to production and iterate as AI evolves.
• Align work to business outcomes, not just tickets closed.

🎯 Requirements

• Staff-level engineering experience — ~8 years or equivalent end-to-end ownership.
• Experience taking zero-to-one: greenfield systems or internal platforms.
• Production experience with LLMs/AI APIs, including prompts and reliability.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to refactor as needed.
• Genuine business curiosity and ability to work with revenue/operations teams.
