Responsible for robustness and long-term performance of VBAT flight hardware
Lead environmental and stress testing (temperature cycling, vibration, HALT, HASS)
Perform failure analysis, materials characterization, and root-cause investigations
Participate in design reviews and FMEA; shape materials and manufacturing requirements
Use reliability modeling tools to predict performance and lifespan
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supplier teams to improve reliability

🎯 Requirements

Technical background in materials science, electronics manufacturing, hardware reliability
Experience with environmental testing and test practices
Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Plotly, Matplotlib)
Familiarity with PCB fabrication/assembly and electronic components
Knowledge of IPC, JEDEC, AIAA, AEC, MIL, SMC standards
Ability to obtain S//SAR clearance desired
