Staff Manufacturing Engineer, Spacecraft

📋 Description

• Own spacecraft assembly and integration to meet specs, quality, and schedules.
• Develop work instructions and manufacturing processes to boost yield and cut cycle time.
• Lead investigation and root cause/corrective action for non-conformances.
• Design and own large-scale GSE for spacecraft manufacturing and integration.
• Review models and drawings for manufacturability and conformance.
• Partner with engineering on DFM to improve producibility and reduce defects.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in spacecraft or complex electro-mechanical manufacturing in aerospace.
• Hands-on manufacturing and test experience.
• Deep knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Proficient in 3D CAD SolidWorks preferred.
• Proficient with Product Lifecycle Management PLM tools.
