Staff Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Build and shape Clutch's internal platform for all engineers.
• Define platform strategy and engineering standards with leadership.
• Create self-service tooling, CI/CD and deployment workflows.
• Design cloud infrastructure and developer experiences that scale.
• Own the technical direction of the platform and tooling.
• Operate in a fast-moving startup with ownership and ambiguity.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or developer tooling at scale.
• Experience as Staff Engineer, Tech Lead, or senior IC driving strategy across teams.
• Deep AWS, Terraform, Docker, and modern CI/CD experience.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python, Go, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience designing scalable developer platforms and tooling.
• Proven ability to solve organization-wide engineering problems with long-term solutions.
