Staff Power Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and specify components and systems in the grid-to-chip power chain
• Build out the test environment and validate grid-to-chip power
• Design test hardware, fixtures, loads to simulate loading and evaluate power chain
• Prototype custom components for Graphcore power architecture
• Support transition from test/validation to manufacturing
• Ensure IT power robustness with grid disturbances and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electrical Engineering; knowledge of Power Electronics
• Experience in power system design and delivery architecture
• Experience testing high voltage/high power systems; hardware and firmware development
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work in a hybrid-remote role based in Milpitas
