Staff Product Designer, Financial Services Lead

📋 Description

• Lead design strategy across Coinbase One, CB1 Card, and Loyalty surfaces
• Act as player/coach to develop IC4-IC5 product designers
• Partner with senior leadership to shape roadmaps and align prioritization
• Drive 0-to-1 strategic design on membership evolution and rewards
• Maintain high quality via structured reviews (crits, DRRs, workbench)
• Represent Loyalty design in exec reviews and cross-functional sessions

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience
• Proven leadership for subscription/loyalty products at scale (1M+ users)
• Experience shaping strategy with senior product/engineering leaders
• Ability to set systems-level vision while shipping iteratively
• Experience managing IC designers through feedback and growth cycles
• Familiarity with consumer fintech or payments product design
