Staff Product Engineer - Backend (Revenue Engineering, Stripe)

📋 Description

• Own and evolve metering infrastructure for billable events
• Expand payment platform integrations: subscription mgmt, usage reporting, invoices, webhooks
• Develop cloud marketplace data flows between billing and cloud entitlement platforms
• Build customer usage dashboards and forecasting for consumption and cost trends
• Improve billing monitoring, alerts, and anomaly detection
• Define architectural patterns and testing approaches to improve reliability

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years backend experience with ownership of production billing/payments/metering systems
• Hands-on payment infra experience: subscriptions, webhooks, usage-based billing, reconciliations
• Strong backend development; Go or Java highly valued
• Experience designing/operating distributed systems at scale
• Product-minded with focus on customer trust and pricing accuracy
• Staff-level ownership with ability to influence direction across teams
