Staff Product Engineer - Backend (Revenue Engineering, Stripe)

📋 Description

• Own and evolve metering infrastructure for billable events
• Expand payment platform integrations (subscriptions, webhooks, usage)
• Maintain cloud marketplace data flows with billing systems
• Build customer usage dashboards and cost forecasting
• Improve billing monitoring, alerts, and anomaly detection
• Define architecture patterns and testing approaches

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years backend engineering with ownership of billing/metering
• Hands-on with payment infra: subscriptions, webhooks, usage-based billing
• Strong backend skills; Go or Java is a plus
• Experience designing distributed systems at scale
• Product-minded with focus on trust and pricing accuracy
• Staff-level ownership and ability to elevate practices
