Staff Product Manager, OpenTelemetry

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end OpenTelemetry experience for Grafana Cloud
• Define vision, strategy, and cross-product roadmap for instrumentation journeys
• Collaborate with remote, global teams across Engineering, Design, and GTM
• Lead through influence across multiple engineering areas without direct authority
• Balance developer UX with operational telemetry requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Product Management for developer tools/observability
• Strong OpenTelemetry knowledge: SDK instrumentation, OTLP, Collectors
• Experience building/instrumentation systems or telemetry tooling
• Understanding of deploying software across Kubernetes, VMs, clouds
• Proven ability to translate onboarding/troubleshooting into clear product experiences
• Excellent written/verbal communication for global, remote teams
