Staff Product Manager, OpenTelemetry | Spain | Remote

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end journey for instrumenting workloads and sending telemetry to Grafana Cloud.
• Make Grafana Cloud the easiest, trusted destination for OpenTelemetry data.
• Define experiences across SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, and Collector deployment.
• Shape onboarding, configuration, troubleshooting, and telemetry health signals.
• Collaborate across Eng, Design, and GTM to ensure a coherent experience.
• Partner with downstream Grafana Cloud teams for activation of telemetry data.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years PM experience in developer tools/observability/data platforms.
• Experience leading strategy across multiple engineering teams without direct authority.
• Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry: SDK, OTLP, Collector, telemetry context, semantics.
• Experience building instrumentation systems, telemetry collectors, or related infra.
• Understanding of deploying software across Kubernetes, VMs, and cloud.
• Proven ability to turn onboarding/config/troubleshooting into clear product experiences.
