Staff Product Manager, Payment

📋 Description

• Own the Payments product end to end across rails, ledger, settlement, reconciliation, payouts
• Identify, assess and prioritise high-impact opportunities with clear hypotheses and outcomes.
• Make scope trade-offs and own decisions throughout delivery.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional pod with engineers and a designer, guiding direction amid
• Ship solutions to real customers early and iterate based on feedback.
• Understand customer invoicing, payment collection, and operational friction to drive improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in product management, with at least 3 years in payments/fintech.
• Ownership of money-movement products or infrastructure; knowledge of payment rails, settlement and
• Fluency with payment infrastructure providers (Stripe, Adyen, Plaid or similar).
• Deep understanding of failure modes, reconciliation, settlement timing, retries, idempotency, and
• Ability to balance compliance, risk, reliability and customer experience in financial systems.
• Experience with AI tools in product workflows and evaluating AI-assisted experiences.
