Staff Reliability and Maintainability Engineer (R5301)

📋 Description

• Lead investigations for V-BAT field failures and reliability issues.
• Drive root cause and corrective actions (RCCA) for fielded V-BAT issues.
• Reproduce/analyze field issues using logs, hardware, test data.
• Partner with Fleet Support Engineers and other teams to resolve fielded system issues.
• Determine causes across design, manufacturing, software, and config.
• Document failure modes, corrective actions, verification, and recurrence prevention.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems, Reliability Engineering or related.
• 5+ years in reliability/maintainability engineering or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical investigations for field failures.
• Experience driving RCCA from problem to closure.
• Strong ability to analyze hardware, software, logs, test data, and maintenance records.
• Familiarity with 5 Whys, fault tree analysis, fishbone, 8D, FMEA/FMECA, FRACAS.
