8+ years in SRE/Platform/DevOps or equivalent
Hands-on Kubernetes expertise, not just deployments
Experience with Kubernetes/EKS upgrades and prod clusters
Strong AWS fundamentals: VPCs, subnets, load balancers, IAM, EKS
Production experience with Terraform or similar IaC
Experience owning CI/CD systems (Argo CD, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)
