Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Take end-to-end ownership of feature areas from design to post-launch monitoring
• Design, build, and ship production-ready features across the OIG system for correctness
• Deliver high-quality bug fixes and handle customer-reported issues
• Write clean, well-tested code and maintain engineering quality
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering for scoping and deployment
• Work on enterprise-grade software used by millions of users

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of Java (Spring/Dropwizard) and/or Golang with multi-threading and async processing
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and JWT for service-to-service communication
• Demonstrated AI fluency in agentic systems and modern AI applications
• Experience building high-performance RESTful APIs or gRPC, with distributed systems/microservices
• Relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and caching layers (Redis) at scale
• Hands-on AWS (Fargate, EC2, Lambda) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
