📋 Description

• Senior IC role building and directing AI-native banking systems
• Own architecture across cloud infra, data platform, CI/CD, and bank↔Affirm Inc integration
• Set patterns, standards, and runbooks to enable a small team to deliver at scale

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on senior capabilities
• Proven track record delivering ambiguous, high-stakes systems end-to-end
• Comfort with AI-assisted development and using AI as a multiplier for code quality and velocity
• Experience driving technical direction across large surface areas and multi-quarter planning
• Deep systems thinking with public cloud (AWS preferred), IaC (Terraform), and data platforms
• Regulated-environment experience (banking/payments or similar) with examiner-facing documentation
