Staff Software Engineer, AI Pod

📋 Description

• Design, build, and ship core AI platform infrastructure (LLM proxy, observability).
• Architect autonomous agents for the SDLC (AI Review App, MCP).
• Develop and maintain the internal plugin marketplace to encode Toast standards.
• Lead MCP services design and no-code templates for faster AI-powered dev.
• Mentor engineers, review architecture, and partner on AI Foundations roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years designing and implementing scalable backend services.
• Strong foundation in Java, Kotlin, or other OO languages.
• Experience with LLM-powered agents or AI tooling.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and plugins.
• Hands-on MCP (Model Context Protocol) or agentic frameworks.
• Distributed systems, API design, and cloud-native infrastructure experience.
