Staff Software Engineer, Autonomous Pilot Integration – Weapons (R5400)

📋 Description

• Lead technical delivery of complex autonomy capabilities across platform integration, fleet
• Develop and field autonomy software on launched effects platforms, including autopilot integration
• Collaborate with Autonomy Capabilities, Perception, feature crews, autopilot vendors, C2 providers
• Design reviews, architecture decisions, ICDs, and repeatable integration practices.
• Drive mission readiness for releases and fleet-scale deployments; manage validation and
• Provide technical leadership during flight tests, demonstrations, and operational deployments

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Expert C++ and Linux development experience.
• Experience leading complex autonomy or embedded software integration.
• Experience influencing technical direction across multiple engineering teams.
• Experience supporting operational test events or customer deployments.
