Staff Software Engineer, BI Tooling and Platform

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for internal BI tooling and platform
• Implement testing strategies to prevent regressions and ensure accuracy and maintainability
• Improve code quality, reliability, and performance of BI tooling
• Build scalable user-facing and internal platform features with efficient data access
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical plans with product teams
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field; 7 years backend software experience
• 7 years in Java backend development, databases, and distributed systems
• 7 years architecting high-scale analytics and data-intensive applications
• 7 years with Python, SQL, and cloud-based tools (Snowflake, DBT, Spark, Kinesis, Airflow
• 7 years building AWS-based microservices and data pipelines for analytics
• 7 years implementing streaming architectures (Kafka or Pulsar)
