Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and initiatives
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, REST APIs
• Influence architectural decisions, standards, and platform improvements
• Balance delivery with long-term scalability, security, and health
• Identify and mitigate risks across products and systems
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of experience building and leading software systems
• Advanced proficiency in Ruby on Rails and backend design
• Strong full-stack understanding, monoliths, and scalable systems
• Experience with PostgreSQL and REST APIs
• Proficiency with React and/or React Native
• Experience with AWS and cloud-hosted infrastructure
