Staff Software Engineer, Data Warehouse Foundation

📋 Description

• Define and design Pinterest's data warehouse architecture, storage, and access patterns.
• Lead ambiguous, highly challenging, cross-functional initiatives across the data warehouse and
• Mentor and elevate the technical bar for engineers, providing leadership on complex design and
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to understand needs and drive progress.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience with large-scale data warehouses and data tools.
• 5+ years building data warehouses with Spark, Trino, Flink, Airflow, Querybook, Superset, DataHub
• Hands-on experience building AI-enabled data tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.)
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across organizations.
