Staff Software Engineer, Developer Experience

📋 Description

• Lead ambiguous, cross-team work from problem definition through measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on in code while shaping architecture and standards.
• Work on developer-facing features, build/workflow artefacts, data/event pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Security and engineering teams.
• Improve observability, reliability and on-call readiness across Developer Experience estate.
• Influence without authority and establish repeatable workflows and controls.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership on production systems.
• Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep experience designing, building and operating backend/platform systems.
• Strong programming ability in at least one production language and adapt to new ones.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, APIs, relational/distributed
• Track record of leading cross-team initiatives and strong technical/product judgement.
