Staff Software Engineer - EDR Agent (Go)

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Go agents for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Leverage OS internals to extract telemetry and manage state efficiently.
• Integrate endpoint agent with backend REST APIs to support threat hunting with low resource usage.
• Build and maintain the concurrent, performance-sensitive core of the endpoint agent and set Go standards.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development with governance and responsible review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on production Go code, concurrency, and well-tested software.
• Strong grasp of OS internals, memory management, file systems, processes, and the user/kernel boundary.
• Deep OS experience in Windows, macOS, or Linux with ability to ramp on others.
• Proven track record building distributed systems with scalability and reliability.
• Experience using AI coding agents to accelerate development.
• Ability to coach or mentor junior engineers.
