Staff Software Engineer Infrastructure (Garage)

📋 Description

• Develop, configure and maintain uploaders and networking gear at AeroVect's garage facilities
• Manage software release delivery to autonomous tractors and on-prem devices across active
• Build and maintain on-prem data processing applications in C++ and Python that handle real-time data
• Ensure reliable ingestion of vehicle data including dashcam images and telemetry
• Maintain and improve an operator-facing UI layer for day-to-day garage ops
• Monitor server health, network performance, and data pipeline reliability on-prem systems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience managing on-prem infrastructure, bare metal, and physical networking
• Proficiency in C++ (std::lib, multithreading, sockets, WebSocket)
• Strong Python and Bash automation skills
• Hands-on experience configuring servers and network hardware
• Experience with software deployment pipelines to physical devices or embedded systems
