Staff Software Engineer (Mobile, Android)

📋 Description

• Build and maintain the native Android Bitwarden app on the Mobile team.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain feature parity across clients.
• Set technical direction and standards for the Android platform.
• Lead complex initiatives spanning multiple sprints or teams.
• Mentor engineers and uphold engineering standards through code reviews.
• Shape Android roadmap with PM and design; plan several quarters ahead.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep Android experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong Android UI/UX design and architecture knowledge.
• Experience setting technical standards and driving adoption.
• Familiarity with unit/UI/snapshot testing and testing standards.
• Experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding tools.
• Knowledge of Android components (AutofillService, AccessibilityService) and Google Play testing
