Staff Software Engineer - Test Systems & Tooling

📋 Description

• Build production-like test environments and tooling to resemble production topology and behavior.
• Enable production-representative workloads, including workload generation and multi-tenant testing.
• Make failure-mode testing repeatable with tooling for latency, faults, and region-level failures.
• Drive system-level test coverage and integrate validations into release validation.
• Build shared frameworks and patterns for high-quality system and integration tests.
• Lead and mentor engineers; influence testing strategy across the org.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals; experience with production-quality systems, platforms, or
• Technical leadership across cross-team initiatives and durable system delivery.
• Observability, debuggability, and operational readiness design (metrics, logs, tracing, safe
• Collaborative across Cloud/Infrastructure, Reliability, Release Engineering, and product teams.
• Excellent written communication (design docs, testing strategy proposals).
