Staff Software Engineer- UI Foundations Team

📋 Description

• Frontend platform architecture and performance for Amplitude\u0027s UI foundations
• Drive build-out of autonomous, AI-agent-driven engineering workflows
• Set technical direction for frontend infrastructure and tooling
• Collaborate with product, design systems, and infra teams to solve core platform pain points
• Lead foundational investments to improve engineering velocity
• Mentor senior engineers and influence cross-team architecture decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Real world software engineering at Staff level or equivalent
• Deep frontend architecture expertise with React or similar frameworks
• Strong infrastructure/systems instincts (build tooling, CI/CD, dev environments)
• Experience improving frontend performance at scale
• Experience designing internal developer tooling or platform infra
• Hands-on with AI-agent-driven engineering workflows or clear vision for them
