Staff Technician, Air Vehicle Systems (R4892)

📋 Description

• Support fabrication, instrumentation, and testing of aerospace products.
• Construct and assemble air vehicle systems and subsystems per drawings and CAD models.
• Design, prototype, and fabricate new products, R&D initiatives, and flight-ready hardware.
• Work with aerospace-grade materials; perform component repairs with standard techniques.
• Fabricate fixtures and modify prototype hardware as needed.
• Install sensors and route cabling; verify sensor calibration and status.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, prototype fabrication, test stand design &
• Proficient in metallic/mechanisms fabrication; bearing install/removal.
• Hands-on machine shop experience (manual and/or CNC).
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Comfortable with noise, dust, chemicals in shop/lab environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform sustained physical work.
