Staff Test Engineer - Actuation

📋 Description

• Own design validation and NPI test process for custom actuator systems
• Hands-on, multi-disciplinary testing across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software
• Develop bringup/calibration workflows and scalable test methods for production
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and controls teams to link test data to design

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on actuator/motor/gearbox testing experience, including dynamometer or test stand operation
• Experience with motor bringup, calibration workflows, and diagnosing drive faults
• Cross-disciplinary debugging across mechanical, electrical, firmware
• Proficient in production-grade Python for test automation and data analysis
• Design and documentation of test methods with pass/fail criteria and handoffs
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and motor datasheets
