Storage Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Operate, maintain, and enhance distributed cloud storage environments for stability, scalability
• Contribute to Ceph-based storage architecture and design decisions.
• Develop automation frameworks and scripts to reduce manual work and improve reliability.
• Optimize monitoring, metrics, alerting, and observability systems.
• Monitor storage infrastructure for high availability and consistent service performance.
• Collaborate with networking and operations on capacity expansion and lifecycle activities.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and managing distributed systems.
• Strong Linux administration (CentOS/RHEL/Debian/Ubuntu).
• Cloud hosting, object/storage concepts experience.
• Performance tuning in virtualized environments; server hardware including IPMI, SATA, NVMe.
• Scripting/automation: Python, Bash, PHP, or similar.
• Experience with Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Salt for infrastructure automation.
