Strategic Finance Lead, AI Infrastructure & R&D

📋 Description

• Serve as primary finance partner to CTO and R&D leadership; influence AI, cloud, compute infra
• Own economic framework for AI, cloud, compute; connect usage, billing, data to forecasts
• Lead financial evaluations for major R&D investments from business case to post-investment
• Own R&D planning, forecasting, performance across engineering, AI infra, compute, software
• Develop driver-based models to identify risks, opportunities, trends
• Partner with AI, Engineering, Infrastructure, Procurement, Accounting to optimize vendor/tech

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or analytical roles with ownership
• Ability to frame ambiguous problems, analyze, recommend, align stakeholders, execute
• Strong financial/analytic capabilities; driver-based forecasts, models, scalable frameworks
• FP&A know-how: forecasting, performance mgmt, investments, resource allocation
• Ability to quickly understand tech systems; AI products, cloud infra, compute scale
• Experience supporting Engineering/Product/Data Science/AI/Infrastructure is valuable
